Working Principle

When the VSI sand making machine starts working, the material falls into the feed hopper, then falls through the annular hole and is divided into two streams by the bulk material disc. One stream enters the high-speed rotating impeller through the distribution disc, and the other stream falls from the surrounding of the distribution disc. The material entering the impeller is rapidly accelerated in the impeller and thrown out at high speed. It first impacts and crushes with the other part of the material that falls freely around the bulk material disc, and then impacts the vortex material lining (or impact block) in the surrounding vortex cavity. It is first rebounded to the top of the crushing cavity, and then deflected and moves downward, colliding with the material emitted from the impeller flow channel to form a continuous material curtain, and then discharged through the lower discharge port.
